Get HYROX ready in 30 days!! This HYROX Training Program is designed for Every Body to prepare you for the fitness competition of the year. Reach your HYROX potential in ten weeks with expert-led classes that will build your strength, mobility, and endurance. This is the perfect time to start preparing for your next HYROX event coming to Chicago November 5.

Urban Grind will cover the Hyrox Registration fee (value up to $135), for the Hyrox Training participant who demonstrates the most progress in 10 weeks. Progress is determined based on your PFT results.

Around the world athletes compete in the same race, on the same course and each event will host up to 3,000 participants. The competition starts with a 1 km run, followed by 1 functional workout repeated 8 times. This combination of functional exercises and endurance makes HYROX unique yet still attainable for people from varying athletic and fitness backgrounds. Participants wear a timing chip and will receive an individual finishing time, with comparable results through our Global Rankings across all events (Singles or Doubles), divisions (HYROX Women/Men, HYROX Pro Women/Pro Men) and in each age group.
Each season culminates with the World Championships where the athletes with the fastest times from each division in each city go head-to-head. Check out hyrox.com for more information.
As a HYROX GYM, we are bringing the ultimate Physical Fitness Test (PFT) to your city – for free!
There is no time limit; No matter how long you need for the PFT, you will receive an award and a certificate that the PFT has been successfully completed.
The PFT is structured for you as an athlete to know the best division to register for at a HYROX event based on your completion time. Please see the scorecard above for more details on the workouts performed and the time placements by age.

Matthew has always made fitness a core part of his life leading him to become a professional football player post college. Aspiring to be a sports broadcaster, Matthew uses his communication degree to build-up his clients and support them in achieving their wellness goals. His approach to teaching others to "Train like an Athlete'', allows for people to reach their maximum capability with the focus and the dedication to WIN!
Sara has been working in the fitness industry since early 2017, specializing in HIIT training ensuring you always push to your limits - mentally and physically! After she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, fitness really changed her life to help her gain control of her mental and physical health. Through her fitness journey she was always inspired by others, and decided to become ce certified in hopes of helping just another person out there. Sara loves fitness, traveling, trying new restaurants in Chicago and spending time with her boyfriend and 2 rescue dogs.
Carmilla wants everyone to be the best version of themselves. Her focus in fitness is the stronger you are, the stronger your community is. With over 10years in the industry Carmilla has a vast experience from yoga to military boot camp style fitness. She loves working out all over the city so if you see her come say hi. Her motto is: GET THE F*@k after it!
Marcus started his journey as a trainer in 2005 after realizing the positive impact health and wellness had in his life as a novice corporate employee. He further expressed his interest in competitive fitness placing 1st in his first bodybuilding show in 2005, and continuing on to become an IFBB Pro Champion. Marcus’ accomplishments as a trainer and competitor gave rise to his development as a coach and mentor, continuing to teach the benefits of understanding how to change ones internal perception and external expression. Marcus’ goal is to guide others towards their best fit life through activity, nutrition and behavioral and mental modifications.
