GETTING STARTED

How do I start at Urban Grind?

Schedule a free consultation with a Coach to discuss your goals and customize a program that’s right for you.

What services do you offer?

We are a transformation center focused on creating sustainable habits for lifelong healthy living. Our custom programs include fitness (group and semi-private classes), nutritional guidance, and accountability coaching based on your goals.

What membership options do you have?

We offer in-person and virtual programs tailored to your needs. Schedule a free consultation to find the right fit for you.

What types of fitness classes do you offer?

We offer strength training classes that also improve endurance, agility, and mobility.

Booking and Attendance

Do I need to book a time slot to work out?

Yes, booking in advance is required to ensure space is available, and so everyone receives the coaching they need.

What time should I arrive at the studio?

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early. Doors close 5 minutes before class starts, and no late entry is allowed.

How far in advance can I book my classes?

You can book up to 30 days in advance.

What is the late cancellation and no-show policy?

Late cancellations (within 8 hours of class start) will incur a $10 fee.

No-shows will be charged a $15 fee.

Can I bring a guest?

Yes, you can purchase a guest pass online. Your guest should arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign a Consent and Waiver Form.

What is the waitlist policy?

If a class is full, join the waitlist via the app or website. If a spot opens up more than 2 hours before class, you’ll be automatically enrolled and notified. Remove yourself from the waitlist if you're no longer interested to avoid being charged.

Programs and Special Services

Do you offer personal training?

Yes, we offer one-on-one and small group sessions with certified trainers. Schedule a consultation or book online here.

Do you offer nutritional plans?

Yes, we provide nutritional guidance as part of our custom programs, designed to complement your fitness and lifestyle goals.

Do you offer special programs like weight loss challenges or boot camps?

Yes, we host challenges, boot camps, and other programs to help you reach your goals. Keep an eye out for upcoming events.

Are there member events or socials?

Yes, we organize member appreciation days, group outings, fitness workshops, and more throughout the year.

Health and Safety

What should I do if I catch COVID?

Follow CDC guidelines and stay home until at least seven days after symptoms appear. If you feel up to it, ask your Coach for virtual workouts.

Membership and Billing

Do I need to sign a long-term contract?

No, we offer flexible month-to-month and annual memberships, as well as custom programs.

Are classes included in my membership?

Yes, most group fitness classes are included with memberships. Specialty classes may have an additional fee.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept major credit cards and debit cards. Payments can be made through our online portal.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, payment plans are available for certain programs. Please contact us for more details.

Can I freeze my membership if I’m going on vacation?

No, memberships can’t be frozen for vacations, but you can request virtual workouts to maintain your routine while you're away.

Can I freeze my membership if I have a medical issue?

Yes. Monthly members can freeze their membership with written documentation from a doctor. Freezes align with your billing cycle, and there are no refunds for prepaid fees during a 30-day freeze.

How do I update my payment information?

You can update your payment details through our online portal or by contacting support at [email protected].

How do I cancel my membership?

Email us at [email protected] with 30 days' notice. We’ll schedule an on-site exit interview with a Coach. Check your program agreement for any applicable fees.

Is there a cancellation fee for memberships?

Cancellation fees vary by program. Refer to your membership agreement or contact support for details.

How do I get a refund?

All payments, including prepaid memberships, program fees, and down payments, are final and non-refundable. Purchases cannot be transferred to another person.

Facility Information

What are your hours of operation?

We’re open Monday through Saturday by appointment only. Book a session with a Coach here to start your custom journey.

Do you have showers and locker rooms?

No, we do not have showers available on-site.

Do you have parking?

Yes, free street parking is available in the neighborhood.

Do you offer childcare?

No, we do not offer childcare services.

Can my child join a program at Urban Grind?

Group classes are for participants 18 and older. Personal training may be available for younger individuals depending on their goals. Schedule a 1:1 consultation for more information.
